AFR-IX telecom joins ICPC – International Cable Protection Committee
AFR-IX telecom has joined the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC).
Founded in 1958, the purpose of the ICPC is to help its Members – from governmental administrations to commercial companies tan own or operate submarine telecommunications or power cables – to improve the security of undersea cables by providing a forum in which relevant technical, legal and environmental information can be exchanged.
The ICPC has more than 170 members in over 60 countries and has the vision of being the premier international submarine cable authority through providing leadership, knowledge and guidance on issues related to submarine cable security and reliability.
