AFR-IX telecom peers at Djibouti Internet Exchange Point

AFR-IX telecom, a Telecommunication Operator delivering State of the Art Internet and data services to corporates, carriers and Telecommunications operators in Africa, announces the connection of its global network to the open and neutral peering point Internet Exchange of Djibouti (DjIX), located at the carrier neutral Djibouti Data Center (DDC).

 

DjIX aims to enhance regional Internet connectivity, performance and cooperation by leveraging its strategic geographical location and its unique access to 11 international and regional fiber optic cable systems (source: djiboutidatacenter.com)

In Africa, AFR-IX telecom peers openly NAPAfrica Internet Exchange Point of South Africa, Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN) and Djibouti Internet Exchange Point (DjIX)
