AFR-IX telecom is the 16th fastest growing telecom company in Europe

AFR-IX telecom, a licensed Telecommunication Operator delivering Data, MPLS, SDN and advanced Managed solutions to corporates, carriers and Telecommunications operators in Africa, is delighted to announce that its European Company has been ranked, for second year in a row, at Number 16th among its sector in the FT 1000, the annual list of Europe’s 1000 fastest growing companies, published by the Financial Times.

In relation to all companies, AFR-IX telecom Barcelona ranks 519th position of a total of 1000 companies.

AFR-IX Telecom operates globally, including twelve companies in Africa, the USA, and Europe. The headcount quadrupled from 21 to 94. Total group revenues increased fivefold. Currently, AFR-IX Telecom holds licenses in multiple countries. In Spain, it holds CNMC electronic and submarine licenses. It holds an Anacom license in Portugal and an FCC license in the USA.

In Africa, it has several licenses. South Africa (ICASA), Nigeria (NCC), Ghana (NCC), and DRC (ART) . It also holds licenses in Mali (ARCEP), Burkina Faso (ARCEP), Sierra Leone (NATCOM), and Cameroon (ART).

About the FT Special Report

Published on March 2nd in a special report on innovation and growth on FT.com. This rating results from a joint project by the Financial Times and Statista. They conducted months of research, public calls, and intensive database analysis. They directly contacted tens of thousands of companies. This led to identifying 1000 outstanding companies from millions of European enterprises. These companies achieved the highest CAGR in revenue from 2016 to 2019.
